Engineering:

Mechadyne is currently seeking qualified, self-motivated personnel with excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills to fill the following Engineering positions. To apply, please include your resume and email it to engineering-careers@mechadyne.com:

4-6 years of experience related to mechanical & electrical detailed design & drafting. Applicant will be expected to work under the direct supervision of other engineers to assist in creating detailed engineering drawings as well as reviewing drawings for correct and complete data prior to final release to manufacturing. Applicant must possess a solid understanding of drafting principles and documentation including BOM generation and usage, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, and drawing redlining and revisions. Applicant should be knowledgeable of common manufacturing processes as it relates to mechanical detailing and dimensioning and possess a general understanding of electrical schematics to be proficient with electrical drafting support required by this position.

Applicant must be proficient working in both 2D and 3D drawings and models and possess extensive knowledge and experience with the following:

  • AutoCAD, Mechanical, Inventor & Electrical
  • Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access
  • MRP/ERP software for data entry (Direct experience with Made2Manage a plus)

8-10 years experience in electrical design, PLC & HMI programming, field startup and commissioning of automated roll handling & packaging (industrial) equipment.

Applicant must possess extensive knowledge and experience with the following:

  • A-B Hardware: SLC & Logix Family PLC’s, Panelview, PanelviewPlus, PowerFlex VFD’s
  • A-B Programming Software: RS Logix 5, 500 & 5000, PanelBuilder, RS View ME
  • Siemens Hardware: S7-200 & S7-300 PLC’s, TP/MP HMI’s, MicroMaster VFD’s.
  • Siemens Programming Software: Step7, MicroWin32, ProTool
  • AutoCAD (AutoCAD Electrical experience a plus)

Good communication skills a must for customer relations. Position will require approximately 30%-40% domestic and international travel.

5-7 years experience in design and drafting of automatic roll handling & packaging equipment. Applicant must have good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing principles, pneumatic and hydraulic system design, machine power and motion control, static and dynamic analysis of moving equipment and loads, and overall industrial equipment operations. Project Engineering, redlining and technical writing experience a plus.

Applicant must be proficient working in both 2D and 3D drawings and models and possess extensive knowledge and experience with the following:

  • AutoCAD, Mechanical & Inventor
  • Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access

Applicant should have basic knowledge of MRP software systems to generate drawing BOM’s in AutoCAD. Domestic and international travel required.

Manufacturing:

Experience and skills required: CNC Machinist/Programmer, CNC Lathe (GE Fanuc 21iT Controller), Various CNC Mills

Experience and skills required: MIG and TIG, Blueprint reading, Setup and pre-assembly, Plasma and Torch cutting

Experience and skills required: Must be in good physical condition as this is a physical position with bending, stooping and lifting, Use of power tools, Manually load and unload freight with the use of a pallet jack, hand truck, or forklift, General labor, Warehouse maintenance, General shop knowledge would be helpful

Customer Service:

Responsibilities for this position include field service, system start-ups, installation, preventative maintenance contracts and troubleshooting for material handling and packaging equipment.  The successful candidate must be a self-motivated person with good communication skills, have a strong electrical and mechanical background with troubleshooting experience, and must have a mechanical aptitude in material handling and packaging equipment.  Extensive travel is required with this position, including some international.  Travel durations of one week or more will be expected.  The position compensation will depend upon an interview and related experience.
